AppGyver Prototyper Now Supports Android and iPhone 5

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwire) — 03/26/13 — AppGyver (), a provider of innovative tools for rapid mobile app development, today announced it is extending its support for flagship product, Prototyper, to Android and iPhone 5. Prototypes built with AppGyver-s Prototyper will now be compatible with Android devices, allowing users to turn wireframes or mockups of mobile app ideas into a working demos in a matter of minutes. Also launched today are a new, simplified Prototyper UI, and support for the Firefox, Safari and Chrome browsers.

Prototyper allows novice and seasoned developers alike to quickly build mobile app prototypes — complete with cameras, media, barcode scanners and other features — that can be tested and demoed without the need for provisioning, third-party installations, or official app store environments. Prototypes are initially built through the AppGyver platform on the aforementioned web browsers and then scanned with AppGyver-s companion Android app to provide the preview. By directly converting mockups into functioning prototypes, instead of starting from scratch with wireframing tools, Prototyper allows for easier and quicker beta testing, especially in those aspects of design and use that vary on Android and iPhone, before apps are submitted to Google Play or the App Store.

“We are delighted to announce Prototyper for Android and iPhone 5, which lets anyone turn an idea into an interactive prototype with native look and feel in a matter of minutes,” said Marko Lehtimaki, AppGyver Founder and CEO. “Our mission is to make the building of HTML5 apps that are indistinguishable from native apps rapid, pain-free, and fun. We are glad that we can now support Android, given its popularity with both mobile developers and users, and the iPhone 5, arguably the pre-eminent smartphone on the market right now.”

AppGyver-s Prototyper has already helped some of the biggest names in app development iterate ideas into full-blown, working prototypes, for demonstration to prospective adopters and investors. Among AppGyver-s clients is the BetterDoctor search engine, whose first app for the iPhone launched last month, and quickly reached #1 on the App Store-s rankings for medical apps.

Prototyper is just the first of many SDK products that AppGyver will be rolling out to the mobile developer community over the next year. For more information about AppGyver-s Prototyper, or to build your own app prototype in minutes, please visit .
