FTC Commissioner Maureen Ohlhausen to Keynote NAI Inaugural Member Summit

WASHINGTON, DC — (Marketwired) — 04/03/13 — The is pleased to announce Maureen Ohlhausen, Commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission, as the keynote speaker for its inaugural NAI Member Summit. The Summit will be held on May 21 in the Glass Houses at the Chelsea Arts Tower in New York City. The theme for the event is “Third Parties and the Future of the Internet.”

Ohlhausen was sworn in as a Commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission on April 4 of 2012. Previously, Ohlhausen was a partner at Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP, where she focused on FTC issues dealing with privacy, data collection, and cyber security. As Director of the Office of Policy Planning from 2004 to 2008, Ohlhausen led the FTC Internet Access Task Force.
