Intrinsic-ID has worked with Oberthur Technologies and STMicroelectronics to integrate Intrinsic-ID-s Hardware Intrinsic Security (HIS) as an additional functionality of Oberthur Technologies- ST33- based USIM Card. Both ST and Intrinsic-ID will demonstrate Intrinsic-ID-s Saturnus® secure cloud application powered by Oberthur Technologies- USIM Card in a mobile phone at their respective booths at Cartes America.
The shift to a -Bring Your Own Device- (BYOD) IT paradigm and the rapidly increasing use of public cloud-storage services is pervasive across many businesses, governments and healthcare services, as well as in our personal lives.
But sensitive data including corporate files, medical health records, emails, personal financials and credit-card data, website login credentials, etc. must be protected to avoid substantial business and/or personal losses that might result from being tampered with in the cloud.
