Fax Sending, Call Forwarding, Report and Journal
In addition to the phone number, serVonic has also linked the fax number in the IXI-PCS search feature in the new version in order that the user can send faxes directly out of the Professional Call Server: When he clicks on the fax number, a window opens and the fax message is sent to the respective recipient by means of IXI-UMS. serVonic simplified the call forwarding in the new version of IXI-PCS: The users can set up the forwarding of their calls to a colleague in their partner bar as flexible by mouse-click as for other participants. In the improved e-mail report and in the journal, the user can distinguish between the actions “Forwarded to” and “Picked up from” more clearly.
Releases for Mac and Windows Operating Systems, Lync and PBX’s
Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion users now can also make use of the features for CTI, IM and Presence: serVonic released the IXI-PCS Client for the new Mac OS. Furthermore, serVonic released its IXI-PCS Client with Microsoft Windows 8, the IXI-PCS Server with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and the IXI-PCS RCC Remote Call Control Gateway with Microsoft Lync Server 2013. In addition to that, serVonic’s Professional Call Server in Version 1.30 can be deployed with the PBX’s Aastra MX-ONE, Avaya IP Office V8, Panasonic KX-NCP500 and KX-NS1000.
Technical Redesign
With IXI-Framework 4, serVonic has realized a technical redesign: The current IXI-Framework of IXI-PCS 1.30 contains a new data base, a new web server and a new OpenLDAP for an own user management.
