The new EBW product family of industrial routers from INSYS icom, technology leader for M2M solutions, is now available. Developing these new units which expand INSYS icom’s router programme, the company concentrated on the IP functionalities for data communication.
Various integrated safety technologies protect machines and process data from unauthorised access. With the new routers, INSYS icom provides robust, economic communication solutions for industrial standard applications, for example the networking of facilities, the energy sector, or IT.
This launch includes the EBW-H100 and the EBW-E100 version. The fast EBW-H100 cellular router with an integrated 2 port switch uses both HSPA and GPRS for data transfer. The EBW-E100 on the other hand, is a pure Ethernet router with one public and one local LAN interface. A WLAN option and an LTE version are being prepared. The new router series features a fresh look with the INSYS icom corporate colour.
