RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA — (Marketwired) — 07/08/13 — DDS Wireless International Inc. (TSX: DD), a world leader in providing wireless data solutions for fleet management for more than 25 years, announced today that its Taxi business unit, Digital Dispatch has signed an agreement with LA Taxi Co-Operative, Inc. of Los Angeles, California, part of one of the largest taxi co-operatives in the United States. Under this agreement, valued at $2.3 million including an extended service agreement, LA Taxi Co-Op is to purchase the complete Pathfinder software package and 855 Vector 9000 wireless mobile computers. All dollar figures are in Canadian Dollars.
LA Taxi Co-Op and its affiliated companies are pioneers in adopting the most advanced taxi dispatch systems, and introduced many new concepts and technology to the industry dating back to the early 1980s. The Vector 9000 is DDS-s most successful product and the company has shipped over 20,000 units worldwide. LA Taxi Co-Op has been a DDS customer since 2003 and this agreement will extend the relationship to at least 2018.
