SINGAPORE — (Marketwired) — 12/02/13 — Paktor Speed Date Night presented by and Sagiko was held at Q4 Bar (Ho Chi Minh City) on November 30th, 2013 where 484 young singles set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS world record for the Largest Speed Dating Event. This new world record beat the previous record set in New Zealand in July 2013.
Each participant had a 3-minute date with 24 other participants, which included numerous local celebrities as well as singers from popular local band V-Music.
Paktor Speed Date Night was witnessed and adjudicated on site by Mr. Mark McKinley from GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS. He shared, “Today, we broke the record for the largest speed dating event… we did have to disqualify quite a lot of people because they did not fill in the forms correctly. But I-m glad to say that today, Paktor and Sagiko managed to bring 484 (qualified) entrants together to speed date, which is a brand new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title. You are officially amazing.”
The event witnessed a significant social media burst with hundreds of posts and check-ins throughout the night on the Paktor Speed Date Night event fan page on Facebook.

The record-breaking speed dating event was followed by Paktor Music Festival, a rocking party which celebrated the new speed dating world record. Party-goers grooved to great live music performed by V-Music, Cuban band Luna Negra and Maya, as well as dance performances by the MTE Dance Crew. The event was also joined by renown international DJ Timmy Vegas.
