CAMBRIDGE, MA — (Marketwired) — 09/16/14 — (C2C), has partnered with to improve patient care at the Camp Coq clinic in Haiti. C2C has installed Vecna–s CliniPAK, a turnkey healthcare IT platform with plug-and-play implementation and longterm data capture and reporting capabilities for health systems in underserved areas worldwide.
Using the CliniPAK, C2C–s doctors, nurses and community health workers will be able to record and report data on a patient–s visit, diagnosis, and prescriptions through laptops and tablets. This mHealth solution allows clinicians to make more effective clinical decisions and spot community health trends that might have otherwise gone undetected. The system also reduces paperwork and creates more time to focus on patients.
The next phase of implementation will include a program for Community Health Workers to create surveys, track home follow-up visits, and capture data from health education sessions held in the community. Implementation of the next phase is scheduled for later this year.
