SANTA CLARA, CA — (Marketwired) — 09/23/14 — Silvaco, Inc., a leading provider of Technology Computer Aided Design (TCAD) and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software, announced today that CEO David Halliday and CFO Gary Micchelli are stepping down as of September 22, 2014. Iliya Pesic is stepping into an executive role in the leadership of Silvaco, Inc. Having been Chairman of the Board for the past two years since founder and father Ivan Pesic–s passing, he–s been nominated and approved by the board to take the role of Executive Chairman.
David Dutton has been tapped to lead the transition as interim CEO based on his proven capabilities and experience in the semiconductor industry. He led public company Mattson Technology for over 11 years as President and CEO with a background that includes a decade of engineering management at Intel and Maxim Integrated Products. Ken Myers will serve as interim CFO, to maintain Silvaco–s strong balance sheet.
