Added in 2014, the Special Recognition for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) category provides recognition for the work that wholesale telecommunications carriers undertake in the realm of sustainable business practices and corporate citizenship. To apply, companies were challenged to outline specific programs and outreach initiatives that they undertake, and ways they contribute to improving communities.
