The Excellence in Performance Award for Visibility, Collaboration and Optimization went to David R. Parsley, who recently retired as Senior Vice President, Supply Chain of Brinker International and launched his management advisory business, David R. Parsley & Associates, dedicated to strategic leadership in foodservice and supply chain management. In partnering with Parsley while at Brinker, and much earlier in his career while with Applebee–s more than a decade ago, the iTrade team credits him with helping to create vision and build strategic alignment to support the execution of that vision. iTrade also cited Parsley–s impact helping to create business processes that changed the nature of the technology vendor-customer partnership to make it truly collaborative and far more effective, and for consistently encouraging all players to be part of the solution.

David Parsley launched his management advisory business, David R. David joined the Brinker team as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management in May 2011. In this role, he managed purchasing, distribution and quality assurance for Brinker–s corporate-owned restaurants. Prior to Brinker, among David–s earlier leadership roles, he served as President and CEO of Centralized Supply Chain Services, LLC., the first and largest casual dining supply chain cooperative in the foodservice industry.
