HomeGrid Forum to hold a Plugfest in Taipei, Taiwan on 14 May, 2015
The plugfest will allow members to perform preliminary testing on G.hn prototypes and final products, with previously certified, mature platforms
Members will also be able to meet Donna Yasay, newly appointed HomeGrid President, and discuss her vision of G.hn as the enabler for high speed home networking in both the carrier and retail markets, as well as continued success and future transition of HomePNA to G.hn.
HomeGrid Forum has announced that it will be holding a plugfest and information session day in Taipei, Taiwan on May 14, 2015. The event, to be held at Allion Labs, HomeGrid–s Accredited Test House (ATH), will give members an opportunity to learn more about the organisation–s certification process and the tools used for the testing. Members will also be able to perform some preliminary testing on their G.hn devices against reference devices and previously certified products.
The plugfest will also give participants a chance to meet key members of the HGF certification process: the chair of the Compliance and Interoperability Work Group — Abdul Khan, the Marketing Work Group chair — Livia Rosu, and HomeGrid–s new president — Donna Yasay, who will be making her first trip to Asia on behalf of HomeGrid.
