(OTCQB: SMME) SmartMetric, the creator of a fully functional biometric fingerprint reader that sits inside a credit or debit card says that it–s miniaturised in card electronics has turned the humble payments card into a powerful computing device in its own right.

Using a powerful Cortex processor similar to what is found in today–s smart phones, SmartMetric has successfully added Gigabytes of memory storage along with a powerful power management system that allows the card to operate as a standalone mobile device.
