TAIPEI, TAIWAN — (Marketwired) — 05/27/15 — 2015 Taiwan Cloud Expo uses “the Digital Root of the City” to be the theme as an accurate interpretation of a positive relationship between the cloud technology development and the urban development. The pavilion is divided into 6 display areas; Achievement, Innovation, Iaas, Paas, Saas and Acer BYOC Alliance. This exhibition is dedicated to the domestic cloud industry and located in the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall, 4th floor, Computers & Systems Area. And the exhibition date is on 6/2~6/6.
The pavilion brings together the cloud industry chain from upstream to downstream, and invites over 37 companies to exhibit. Products and applications include cloud data center, medical application, smart monitoring, cloud office, image recognition, customer relationship management, smart home, mobile health care, digital TV box, indoor positioning platform, marketing platform, security control system, wearable carrier, and 3D augmented reality. With a variety of demonstrations, the pavilion not only showcases Taiwan companies– ability in development and manufacturing in the cloud technology, but also urges the manufacturers to expand their businesses and strengths in the international market.
In the pavilion, a specially depicted “IDC Industry Chain” will exhibit the structure of Taiwan software and hardware companies in the cloud industry. It presents the outstanding achievement of the domestic cloud data center solution, IDC Solution. The cloud data center, authenticated by the OCP — the Facebook–s Open Compute Project (Wiwynn Corporation) with the highest international standards of ultra-high-speed storage devices (AccelStor Inc.) and architecture on OpenStack, self-developed cloud management platform — CloudFusion (InfinitiesSoft Solutions Inc.), demonstrates the strength of Taiwan–s industry leading skills both in OCP and OpenStack technologies.
Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and the Institute for Information Industry (III) will also bring in their development results in the cloud industry. ITRI Information and Communications Research Laboratories will exhibit a new generation cloud application service of wearable intelligent image. The service is in conjunction of a new textile technology (developed by Taiwan Textile Research Institute) and an intelligent mobile vehicle investigation system (developed by HIPOWER Solution Group) and becomes the smartest safety control product and has successfully acquired orders from overseas markets. ITRI Cloud Computing Center for Mobile Applications has successfully transferred its domestic Iaas system, ITRI Cloud OS, for domestic companies to use. For example, the “City Eyes” of IRONYUN Inc. and “AURORA OACLOUD” of AURORA Corporation. On the other hand, III leads the “the Cloud Industry Service Group” to participate and show the determination; this service group will accelerate assist all industries to move onto the cloud technology.
