Most recently, Lyon served as managing director of LyonSHARE Communications Group, a strategic communications consultancy she founded in 2004, which has served as Glassdoor–s agency of record since its launch in 2008. Under Lyon–s leadership, LyonSHARE has also served as agency of record for since 2007, supporting the company–s data-driven, brand-building PR programs by managing communications around its 2011 IPO and most recently its $2.5 billion acquisition of . Lyon previously served a senior vice president in –s consumer marketing practice, and she also spent more than 15 years running in-house communications and public affairs programs for several large brands including , a division of Cendant Corporation now called , , Cheap Tickets and . Her range of experience includes creative story telling, leveraging data programs to build brands, growing global communications departments, managing communications around more than 25 mergers and acquisitions, supporting IPOs and secondary offerings and building and revamping financial communications programs.

She also serves on the board of T4A.org, a non-profit that facilitates dialogue between technology leaders and public officials to identify and develop results-focused initiatives that help communities.
