MINNEAPOLIS, MN — (Marketwired) — 07/28/15 — The Direct Response Forum (DRF), a non-profit organization serving Card Not Present (CNP) payment professionals by providing industry-related educational opportunities, announced that Matt Davies, Payments Outreach Professional for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, will speak at the upcoming scheduled for August 3 to 5, 2015 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
With more than 17 years of payments experience and 14 of those years with the Federal Reserve, Davies will be the main speaker at a session titled “The Federal Reserve: In Pursuit of a Better Payment System.”
Davies will discuss strategies for improving the U.S. payment system documented in a paper released in January 2015 as well as the Federal Reserve–s efforts currently underway and planned in support of these efforts. The presentation will also touch on various payment industry efforts that may have a significant impact on the future of the payment system, such as NACHA–s proposal for same-day ACH.
