COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — (Marketwired) — 08/05/15 — The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) and its Solid State Storage Initiative (SSSI) today outlined the details of its participation in the Flash Memory Summit 2015 which will feature a variety of educational, training and networking opportunities for conference attendees.

WHAT:
– A pre-conference event held on Monday, August 10th from 8:00am 5:00pm, in SCCC Room 203/204, where attendees can learn about multiple storage-related topics such as flash in the enterprise, secure storage, object drives, backup, and Non-Volatile DIMM (NVDIMM) integration via SNIA Seminars from SNIA member speakers.
– Monday, August 10th from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm in SCCC Room 203/204 will feature a networking reception with SSSI leadership providing perspectives on the SSD and NVDIMM markets, SSD performance, and interface technology. Attendees will also be entered into a drawing to win solid state drives.
– The SNIA SSSI can be found in booth #820 and in the Solutions Showcase on the FMS exhibit floor. Attendees can review a series of updated performance statistics on NVDIMM and SSD, see live PCIe SSD and NVDIMM demonstrations, access SSD data recovery education, and view a new NVDIMM Cookbook illustrating how NVDIMMs function in server and storage systems. SNIA representatives will also be present to discuss other SNIA programs such as membership, certification, conformance testing, and conferences.
