VeloCloud to Showcase Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN Solutions for Enterprise-Grade Unified Communications at BroadSoft Connections 2015

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — (Marketwired) — 10/23/15 — BroadSoft Connections 2015 Booth No. 25 — VeloCloud Networks Inc., the , today announced that it will showcase first-of-their-kind demonstrations of BroadSoft and Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) delivering enterprise-grade performance and reliability for Unified Communications (UC) services next week at BroadSoft Connections 2015, in Booth Number 25.

During the event, VeloCloud will demonstrate how its solution enables UC providers to deliver high-quality services over broadband Internet or Hybrid WAN networks while assuring UC performance. In addition, VeloCloud will highlight how Managed Service Providers (MSPs) can quickly deploy UC-ready branch WAN while assuring service quality over Internet or Hybrid WAN networks.

The VeloCloud demonstration will showcase two concurrent video calls between video phones and BroadSoft UC-One endpoints, both registered to the BroadWorks platform. One video call will be carried over ordinary broadband Internet while another video call will be carried over the VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN. Attendees will see that as network conditions degrade, the communication over the VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN is not impacted by network impairments, does not drop calls, and is drastically higher quality. This will demonstrate how UC providers can deliver UC services over the Internet without compromising performance, quality or reliability.

“BroadSoft Connections keeps attendees ahead of UC trends, making it the perfect event to showcase how VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN works with BroadSoft to enable providers to deliver reliable enterprise-grade UC services regardless of network conditions,” said Michael Wood, VeloCloud vice president of marketing.

VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN enables enterprises to , and assure performance to cloud and enterprise applications. Global service providers are able to increase revenue, deliver advanced services and increase flexibility. VeloCloud SD-WAN control enables application traffic to be securely carried independently of the underlying transport layer, enabling flexibility, availability and performance while dramatically reducing IT complexity in the branches. VeloCloud–s cloud-based multi-tenant orchestrator provides MSPs with configuration management, zero touch provisioning, and a single pane of glass for monitoring and troubleshooting end to end network quality.

Analyst research firm Infonetics predicts the Hosted PBX and UC services market is scheduled to grow from just under $8B in FY14 to almost $14B by CY19. Game-changing factors are driving an uptick in adoption — from a more mobile workforce to the increasing popularity of cloud-based delivery models. BroadSoft Connections 2015 offers attendees the chance to get out ahead of the trends and capture share of the growing UC market. They can benefit from powerful strategies that help address both the current and future needs of customers. Attendees have the opportunity to network with peers, share best practices, and attend sessions that can position their companies for breakthrough results.
