REDWOOD SHORES, CA — (Marketwired) — 11/02/15 — . (NASDAQ: IPAS) and , the two largest Wi-Fi networks in the world, today have announced a strategic partnership to bring nine million community hotspots from participating Fon partners to business clients using iPass. In combination with other recent network partnerships, iPass enterprise users will have access to 50 million Wi-Fi hotspots worldwide by the end of 2015.

“Our vision is Wi-Fi that is unlimited, everywhere and Invisible. I–m really excited about partnering with Fon as it supports this vision through significantly increasing our Wi-Fi hotspot footprint globally. iPass enterprise customers will be able to access the newly added Fon hotspots as part of their iPass subscription. Through a single log-in, users can obtain automatic and unlimited access to cost-effective and secure global Wi-Fi via smartphones, tablets and laptops.

“We are pleased to partner with iPass in providing unlimited connectivity to its enterprise customers,” said Carleen Chou, Head of Business Development and Sales at Fon. “We are also very excited about working towards adding access to premium locations for members of our Fon community. We believe that our two companies have a very complementary set of customers and networks, and are working together to provide easy, ubiquitous and affordable Wi-Fi access to the world.”
