Brocade Elects Kim Goodman to Its Board of Directors

SAN JOSE, CA — (Marketwired) — 02/09/16 — Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD) today announced that its Board of Directors has elected Kim Goodman as a new independent director, effective February 8, 2016.

Ms. Goodman brings impressive skills and experiences to Brocade, spanning key focus areas for the company, including financial services, customer service, software, and technology. Most recently, she served in several executive leadership roles at American Express Company, including President of American Express Global Business Travel, President of Merchant Services for Americas, and Executive Vice President of Merchant Services for North America. Prior to joining American Express, Ms. Goodman held senior leadership positions at Dell Inc., including Vice President of Software and Peripherals, Vice President of Public Sector Marketing and Transactional Sales, Vice President of Dell Networking, and Vice President of Business Development. Before joining Dell, Ms. Goodman was Partner at Bain & Company management consulting, working with telecommunications and technology clients. Ms. Goodman previously served as a director of Alcatel-Lucent SA and AutoNation, Inc. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
