Skyscape Cloud Services Launches Online Portal For Customer Input

London – July 13, 2016 – Skyscape Cloud Services Limited, the easy to adopt, easy to use and easy to leave assured cloud services company has today launched Skyscape Ideas, an online portal enabling customers to input their ideas directly and visually influence Skyscape’s product development roadmap.

“As a company, we’re passionate about customer care and continually innovating our products and service to meet the needs of our public sector customers,” said Simon Hansford, CEO at Skyscape Cloud Services. “We have a track record of evolving and improving our cloud platform to add the features that are most important to our community of users. We’re always looking for innovation that delivers value to our customers and this portal will help us do that. It will make it even easier for customers to provide the ideas and feedback which will directly influence future product development and what we deliver going forward.”

Skyscape Ideas is run by Skyscape’s new Customer Voice Team which is responsible for ensuring that Skyscape proactively listens to its customers, and that all feedback is reviewed and directed to the right product team within Skyscape. The Skyscape Ideas community will be able to add new ideas to the portal but also ‘like’ or ‘dislike’ and comment on existing ideas. Skyscape is also encouraging individuals to promote their ideas amongst colleagues and other users who would find a feature or change useful. All users have the option to receive an email when someone comments on their idea, in order to encourage engagement across the community.

Likes, dislikes and feedback submitted via Skyscape Ideas will then be used by the Customer Voice Team to evaluate each suggestion. The most popular ideas will be considered first but all ideas will be assessed and each will be judged on its own merits. Skyscape will respond directly to the most popular ideas to explain what is being done. Those that align with overall strategy and have support across the Ideas community will be added to Skyscape’s product roadmap. Not all ideas will be worked on straight away, so some will be added as future developments. As part of its commitment to being open and honest, Skyscape will explain to the community why an idea does not align with its strategy or does not make sense for it to action as a cloud provider. It will also comment on the less popular ideas to provide insight into its thinking. All ideas will be assigned a status – New, Under consideration, On roadmap, Considered for future, Not planned or Delivered. This will ensure the community is kept up-to-date on the progress of each idea. As the company looks beyond G-Cloud 8 to G-Cloud 9, it is confident that Skyscape Ideas will help it ensure that its products and service continue to deliver flexible, agile and value-based cloud hosting.

Skyscape Ideas is a beta service being developed using an agile approach. It is open to all of Skyscape’s customers and partners and full terms of use can be found on https://skyscape.force.com/skyscapeideas
