CORRECTION – iPass and Uber Join Forces to Provide International Uber Riders With Free Wi-Fi Access in Rio de Janeiro

REDWOOD SHORES, CA — Aug 5, 2016 — (NASDAQ: IPAS), the leading provider of global mobile connectivity, and today announced a partnership to provide international Uber riders with free Wi-Fi in Rio de Janeiro. As part of the partnership, iPass will provide Uber riders with access to more than 1160 iPass commercial hotspots in Rio de Janeiro. Starting immediately, the promotion will run until August 21.

Within the Brazilian city, iPass boasts a notable footprint, with Wi-Fi coverage in elite hotels, in tourist-friendly neighborhoods, Copacabana and Ipanema, and near popular sporting venues.
