DonMoji allows users to send out over 40 different Emojis and GIFs related to Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump, including his most famous poses, official campaign logos and slogans, images of a potential Trump White House, and depictions of the other members of the Trump family. With plans to add additional images in the future, the application is climbing up App Annies & iTunes store charts.
The DonMoji app allows users to customize the size of any included image, providing the perfect exclamation point to any remark. All of the images are displayed in HD resolution optimized for the iMessage interface. An Android version is in the works at the moment.
The app includes an integrated QWERTY keyboard, making it more convenient to place Trump Emojis and GIFs exactly where you want them. The keyboards were resized in the app–s most recent update. DonMoji is available in English from the iTunes store for $1.99 and requires 29.6 MB of free space to download.
Others have had success with this type of app before. Kim Kardashian West–s KIMOJI app is similar to DonMoji, offering users an extensive selection of images and GIFs related to the reality TV star. KIMOJI continues to be updated regularly, allowing users to purchase new content via in-app purchases. Basketball star Steph Curry has also made waves with his StephMoji app, featuring a collection of images selected by its namesake.
Donald Trump has proven himself to be a controversial figure whose name is always on the mind and lips of supporters and detractors alike. As long as he continues to be newsworthy, there is no reason to project anything but success for the DonMoji iPhone app.
