BroadSoft BusinessCloud Powers Innovative Unified Communications (UC) Provider Access4

GAITHERSBURG, MD and MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA — (Marketwired) — 08/10/16 — (NASDAQ: BSFT), a global unified communications as a service (UCaaS) leader, welcomed the launch of new Australian cloud telecommunications wholesale provider and BroadSoft BusinessCloud specialist, Access4.

Access4 provides UCaaS to independent systems integrators, allowing them to offer cloud voice and video services to their end user clients, as well as business telephone provisioning. Access4 has also made significant investments in the development of a web-based management platform that allows systems integrators to provision services to end users instantly, with little or no technical training.

Access4–s SASBOSS platform–s ease of use is a key market differentiator, as it addresses one of the largest barriers cited by small and medium sized businesses in the deployment of unified communications services. The SASBOSS platform allows systems integrators the ability to quickly design their own product offerings, which can be tailored to businesses as small as two users, or scale to thousands of users. A new end user business can typically be provisioned within ten minutes with the SASBOSS platform.

Access4 provides clients with access to a Trans-Tasman MPLS network to support local, national and international voice and video calling. The company–s wholesale business model is also unlike others in its market, as Access4 will not compete with its partners by contracting directly with end user customers.

“BroadSoft is delighted to see Access4 enter the Australia and New Zealand market. We are experiencing strong demand in the SMB marketplace for unified communications, and Access4–s business model addresses a number of important barriers to more widespread adoption of UC in this market segment,” said Kelvin Beadle, vice president, Asia Pacific, BroadSoft. “With the small and medium sized businesses that we see, they almost all universally love the services that UC offers. However, deploying, changing and adding new users and services needs to be ultra-simple. Resellers also need to be on-boarded easily. We believe Access4 has accomplished this.”

“Combining the BroadWorks and SASBOSS platforms, partners can build, deploy and support cloud UC services without deep engineering resources or capital investments. Service quality is a key expectation that businesses have of their PBX and UC solutions and BroadSoft enables us to deliver a market leading, world class solution,” said Ruy Franco, Sales and Marketing Director, Access4.

BroadSoft is the leading provider of software and services that enable mobile, fixed-line and cable service providers to offer Unified Communications over their Internet Protocol networks. The Company–s core communications platform enables the delivery of a range of enterprise and consumer calling, messaging and collaboration communication services, including private branch exchanges, video calling, text messaging and converged mobile and fixed-line services.
