Paytronix Expands With New Boston Area Headquarters

NEWTON, MA — (Marketwired) — 08/16/16 — Paytronix Systems, Inc., a leading provider of , today announced a tripling of the size of its headquarters as it moves into a new space that will accommodate its growth in personnel. Paytronix drives customer engagement, loyalty and mobile marketing solutions for more than 280 restaurant and convenience store chains across the country — helping its customers engage more than 50 million loyal guests, and to grow more than $10 Billion in guest spend.

The new Paytronix headquarters (80 Bridge Street, Newton, MA) features standing desks and an open environment where all employees can work on the same floor for better dynamics & communication. Teams are grouped in areas distributed around a coffee bar & lounge, with an outdoor patio to enjoy the sun–s rays when the weather is nice. A mezzanine level above the main floor includes a cafeteria area, as well as leisure space with couches, TVs and a ping-pong table.

Paytronix has added thousands of restaurant locations in the past year, along with a 20 percent increase in overall headcount, adding employees to meet the growing demand for mobile engagement and CRM, loyalty programs and data-driven marketing. Paytronix works with top national restaurant brands like Bloomin– Brands, Denny–s, California Pizza Kitchen and Captain D–s, and in the last few years has expanded into the convenience store market with chains like Thornton–s. As a result, Paytronix has seen the average size of 2016 customer engagements grow significantly. New deployments are much larger in size than prior years, as users leverage the Paytronix mobile, social and digital marketing tools for competitive advantage.

Locally, Paytronix works with a “who–s who” of Boston–s restaurant brands, as most Bostonians are members of several Paytronix loyalty programs, from Panera Bread to Papa Gino–s/D–Angelo–s Grilled Sandwiches, JP Licks and more.

“We are very fortunate to have this wonderful new office space, built out specifically to match our needs and culture. Paytronix has twin challenges of growing quickly and competing for the best talent in the competitive Boston market place. By tripling our Boston footprint, we can continue to recruit the great talent here in the Boston market,” said Andrew Robbins, president and co-founder of Paytronix Systems, Inc. “It is important to maintain our roots in the Boston area, where we benefit from access to world-class technical talent, as well as strong relationships with many local universities. Finding such a large office space in the building right next door to our prior headquarters made the move and transition extremely smooth for our employees and let us stay in the mill district of Newton that we–ve grown to love so much.”

Paytronix worked with , an award-winning local firm with expertise in dynamic interior office design, to construct the new office space. The new headquarters is comforting and inspiring as a work home for all the Paytronix employees, with plenty of room to grow in the years to come.

“The existing brick and timber building at 80 Bridge Street offered an ideal 2 story backdrop for Paytronix–s vibrant and collaborative office culture,” said Tom White, project principal at ACTWO Architects. “We structured the new design elements as a strong contrast to this rough and visually textured industrial post and beam shell by incorporating smooth faceted and angled faces that detach and float free of the existing brick and wood building features. The majority of the enclosed functions of the office are located in the center of the space, which prioritized access to perimeter daylight for the workstation areas.”

“By eliminating enclosed private offices, we are able to further Paytronix–s goal of a bright, open and non-hierarchic work environment,” added Sean Coveney, ACTWO–s project designer. “The second floor focused on leisure and group activities, with special meeting rooms and break-out spaces that are contiguous to an expansive kitchen and lounge area — which doubles as a presentation and meeting space for the entire company.”

Paytronix–s proprietary guest engagement platform helps more than 280 restaurant and retail chains manage and grow more than $10 Billion in guest spend. Customers benefit from big data consumer insights that Paytronix generates from 1-to-1 engagement with more than 30 million loyal guests — through mobile, social and today–s most innovative digital marketing tools. As a result, customers can more effectively segment and motivate their guests to increase spend and drive revenue. For more information, visit .
