“From day one, company culture has been our number one priority at The Trade Desk,” said Jeff Green, CEO and Founder of The Trade Desk. Even though we–re a technology company — people come first, always. As we have grown to nearly 500 employees, with offices world-wide, our need to seek out unique individuals who bring together emotional intelligence and generosity with grit, humility, and tenacity has become even more essential. Our industry is complex enough that success is found in collaboration. Our success has come, in large part, from caring for each other. We love working together; and we love being together as much or more than we love what we–re working on. All of us create our company culture every day. The Glassdoor Employees Choice Award reflects the importance we collectively place on maintaining it.”

On , current and former employees of companies worldwide share insights and opinions about their work environments by contributing company reviews, which capture genuine and authentic opinions about what it–s like to work at particular jobs and companies. When posting, satisfaction with the company overall, and key workplace factors like career opportunities, compensation, benefits, work/life balance, senior management, as well as culture and values are also part of what–s published. In addition, employees describe the best reasons to work at their companies as well as any downsides.

“Company culture and the employee experience are critical considerations for job seekers everywhere when deciding where to work. To help, the Glassdoor Employees– Choice Awards recognize companies that truly stand out as Best Places to Work because they–re purely determined by the authentic voice of those who really know a company best — the employees,” said Robert Hohman, Glassdoor CEO and co-founder. “Employers where employees love to work continue to prove that they have a recruiting and business performance edge. We–re proud to celebrate the 2017 Glassdoor Employees– Choice Awards winners in earning this incredible achievement.”

The Best Places to Work are determined using company reviews shared by U.S.-based employees between November 2, 2015, and October 30, 2016. To be considered for the U.S. SMB category, a company must have less than 1,000 employees and have received at least 25 company reviews from U.S.-based employees during the period of eligibility.
