The new contract will allow Shaw Business to extend its exceptional voice network to the City of Calgary-s business requirements and will complement Shaw-s existing agreement with the City for the delivery of data services.
Shaw-s three-year agreement will service the City-s three main locations, City Hall, Manchester and Whitehorn, with more than 8,000 direct inward dial numbers and a complex call routing and management platform for the City-s 311 services. Shaw-s extensive fibre footprint provides redundancy measures to ensure uninterrupted voice coverage for the City.
