CeBIT 2010 – A successful Trade Fair for ABAS

Karlsruhe – Multiple ERP orders during CeBIT, a 30% increase in booth visitors, a new trade fair booth visible from a distance, and the visit of Minister of State Rau ensured a good atmosphere at the ABAS trade fair booth.

For ABAS and its partners, the year 2010 was one of the most successful CeBIT fairs ever. Two new customers could already be acquired during the trade fair. Dienes Group will implement abas ERP in the U.S.A., Germany, and Hungary. Thanks to its global partner network, ABAS was able to score decisively.

30% increase in visitors

Even though this year-s event was a day shorter, ABAS welcomed 30% more visitors compared to 2009. A glamorous booth and dedicated employees helped ABAS to differentiate in hall 5 for ERP vendors. For ABAS this is an excellent start into the year 2010. Many visitors came from all over the world, especially from the United States and this year-s CeBIT partner country Spain. Many visitors were welcomed in their native languages since international partners from the US, Italy and the Netherlands were also represented.

At the CeBIT Studio, a webcast for decision makers from midsize companies, ABAS COO Peter Forscht and CEO Werner Strub went live “on air”. During live webcasts, Peter Forscht presented the software provider-s globalization strategy and Werner Strub gave a lecture on important criteria for ERP users, based on accepted ERP satisfaction studies.

On the third day of the trade fair, Minister of State Helmut Rau visited ABAS. The minister congratulated the founders Werner Strub, CEO, and Peter Forscht, COO, on the 30th anniversary and caught up on current CeBIT highlight of abas Business Software.
