Representatives of Central Asian mining firms visited important actors of the Freiberg mineral industry at the end of 2012. At a conference held at the Freiberg Innovation centre (GIZeF), important activities in mining research and development as well as the history of the region have been represented.
Beak Consultants was reporting about its international activities in mining sector support and development programs. Technologies of geo-scientific data storage and their distribution as well as exploration targeting by use of artificial intelligence methods (advangeo® minerals) have been met with big interest. Further cooperation activities have been envisaged for early 2013.
The visit has been organized in the frame of the ?Manager Training Program ? focus: mining and mineral industry? of the Carl-Duisberg-Centren gGmbH in cooperation with the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Federal Ministry for Economy and Technology.
Beak Consultants GmbH provides consulting services in the fields of geology, minerals, project due diligence, nature and soil protection, remediation of contaminated sites, planning, development and implementation of information systems, as well as data capture/cartography/GIS in Germany and abroad.
Currently, Beak employs 42 professionals from the fields of geo-sciences, computer sciences, cartography and mathematics.
