Leading Analyst Firm Positions Oracle in Leaders Quadrant for 2013 Magic Quadrant for Talent Management Suites

REDWOOD SHORES, CA — (Marketwired) — 04/15/13 — Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL)

Oracle has been positioned in the Leaders quadrant for Gartner-s 2013 “.” (1)

Gartner Magic Quadrants position vendors within a particular market segment based on their completeness of vision and their ability to execute on that vision.

According to Gartner, “Talent management suites are an integrated set of applications, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance appraisal/assessment, goals management, career development, succession management, learning management and compensation management.”

Gartner defines Leaders in the Magic Quadrant as those who “demonstrate a market-defining vision of how talent management technology can help HR leaders achieve business objectives. Leaders have the ability to execute against that vision through products, services and demonstrated, solid business results in the form of revenue and earnings. In talent management suites, Leaders show a consistent ability to win broad suite deals. They have significant successful customer deployments in North America, EMEA and the Asia/Pacific region in a wide variety of vertical industries, with multiple proof points. Leaders are often what other providers in the market measure themselves against.”
