MyMedicalRecords Files Patent Infringement Complaint Against Jardogs, a Subsidiary of Allscripts

LOS ANGELES, CA — (Marketwired) — 05/20/13 — MyMedicalRecords, Inc. (“MMR”), a wholly owned subsidiary of (OTCQB: MMRF), today announced the filing of a complaint for patent infringement against Jardogs LLC, a subsidiary of Allscripts. The complaint states that Jardogs provides health information services to consumers and healthcare providers and is infringing on MMR-s Personal Health Records patents including U.S. Patent No. 8,301,466. According to the complaint, Jardogs provides a product called FollowMyHealth Universal Health Record, which it describes as the “next generation patient portal, combining patient-provider communication with a patient managed personal health record.” MMR is seeking monetary damages as well as a permanent injunction. The complaint was filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, case number CV: 13-3560, on May 16, 2013, and is available on the court-s website .

The complaint alleges that Jardogs, while infringing on MMR-s patent, also has induced others including Allscripts, distributors, agents, resellers and users to infringe one or more claims of the patent.
