With these initiatives, Vicor is making a significant investment in the high-growth Indian market and strengthening its relationships with customers and distributors across key regions of the country.
CoreEL Technologies, a leading provider of technical design and support services in India, will represent Vicor via local offices in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and Pune. Distinguished for its role as a key regional representative for premier semiconductor companies including Xilinx and Cavium, CoreEL gives Vicor greater access to the burgeoning communications infrastructure market in India. CoreEL will work closely with Vicor-s distributors in India — Future Electronics, SM Creative and Powertec — to facilitate end-to-end sales and technical support that meets local customers- unique power management requirements, from AC to the point of load.
Further expanding its business presence in India, Vicor has also opened a new Technical Support Center in Bangalore. The new office is designed to provide expert technical counsel and support to key customers in the region.
