Twenty Year Intel Veteran Joins Spectra7 as CFO

TORONTO, ONTARIO and PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA — (Marketwired) — 06/10/13 — Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. (“Spectra7”)(TSX VENTURE: SEV), a high performance analog semiconductor company delivering unprecedented speed, resolution and signal fidelity to consumer and wireless infrastructure products, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. Guy Anthony as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), effective June 17th, 2013. Mr. Anthony succeeds outgoing CFO Patrick Leung who is leaving Spectra7 to pursue other opportunities.

Mr. Anthony is a seasoned financial executive with over 30 years of experience working with both public and private companies. He earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School and then worked at Intel Corporation for 22 years. At Intel, he held a variety of finance and operational related positions at locations in Santa Clara, New Mexico and Hong Kong. He was Group Controller for the Microprocessor Group for 4 years and was Assistant Treasurer supporting Intel Capital for 3 years. Since leaving Intel he has been the CFO for a number of successful Silicon Valley based technology companies including Quellan (acquired by Intersil), Solaicx (acquired by MEMC Electronic Materials), Stentor (acquired by Philips) and most recently Medicalis.
