CloudSpokes Launches Hall of Fame, Announces This Year-s Inductees

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwired) — 06/24/13 — , a marketplace for cloud development, today initiated its inaugural class into the , a new program that recognizes the most active and influential members in the CloudSpokes community. These first three members of the Hall of Fame were acknowledged for their participation in challenges, discussions and overall dedication to the community, as well contributions to CloudSpokes. The CloudSpokes team chose each Hall of Fame initiate based on a series of votes, recognizing those who have gone above and beyond in both their own personal efforts and added value to the community, thus founding the inaugural class of the CloudSpokes Hall of Fame.

This year-s inaugural Hall of Fame inductees:

: Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Cheung codes for a living and works for 11 companies that range from startups to enterprises. After learning about CloudSpokes in 2011, he has since won 64 challenges, with winning submissions in challenges sponsored by cloud innovators such as Amazon, Appirio, Box, DocuSign, Heroku, MESH01, and Personal. Cheung, known by CloudSpokes for his creative demo videos, is consistently at the top of the CloudSpokes leader boards and has been active in Community Review, as well as the CloudSpokes Appellate Committee. A Hall of Famer in every sense of the word, the CloudSpokes community considers Cheung an asset and leader.

: Competing from Mumbai, India, Irani is well known by many CloudSpokes members. A fierce competitor who has continually put forth strong effort and valuable work, he has helped the CloudSpokes community by judging, submitting ideas and communicating on challenge threads with others. Irani is also a true philanthropist, who was anxious to participate in CloudSpokes- Future of the Cloud Day challenge this year.

: A 29-year old developer from Minsk, Belarus, Kolbovich studied at Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR). He has been a freelancer for nearly ten years, and through CloudSpokes contests has been able to stay current by using the latest technologies and API in his spare time. He enjoys cooking, music, yoga and origami as well. A highly influential member in the community, Kalbóvich has suggested numerous ideas that were then implemented by CloudSpokes and has served as a resource to other members.

“The constant advancements in cloud and mobile keep me busy delivering simple and effective software solutions,” said CloudSpokes Hall of Fame winner Irani, who has more than 17 years of experience as a hands-on developer. “I love everything about software and its power to change lives. I-ve learned a lot from these challenges because they give me the opportunity to understand a technology, implement it in a given time span, and pit myself against quality developers in a healthy way, while earning. I have actually used the earnings to help start my own developer training workshops.”
