Metamarkets Strengthens Executive Team With Advertising Technology Veterans

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwired) — 08/13/13 — , the leader in real-time analytics for online advertising, announced today it has hired two executives with deep experience in the ad technology space. Ron Claypool joins as VP of Client Services and David Hertog joins the company as VP of Marketing.

As Vice President of Client Services, Ron leads the company-s partner sales team and drives revenue through large scale, strategic partnerships. He is also responsible for client services, including client on-boarding, sales operations and account management.

Ron brings to Metamarkets more than 20 years of sales leadership with an emphasis in digital media and operations. Having specialized in sales for both search and display channels, he is well versed in auction-based marketplaces and real-time bidding for digital display. Over the last decade, Ron has held senior leadership positions at several high-tech companies, including Vantage Media and Microsoft. Most recently, Ron was Vice President of Demand Management at the Rubicon Project. Ron received his Bachelor of Science degree from Bradley University and his Master-s degree from Illinois State University.

As VP of Marketing, David serves as the global marketing lead and manages all the company-s branding activities, messaging, thought leadership, PR, marketing communications and product marketing.

David joins Metamarkets from Google, where he led product marketing for DoubleClick Ad Exchange and DFP. At Google he also ran all marketing efforts for Admeld, the company at which he led marketing for three years until Google acquired it in December 2011. Before that, David served as Director of Marketing for KickApps and in related roles for The New Republic and Agency.com. He holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in history from Tufts University and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
