IT leaders at The Mount note that the 2,700 students and 800 faculty members and staff spread across the 52-acre campus typically have more than 12,000 devices connected to the network, more than twice the number they had just three years ago. Frequency of use of the Wi-Fi network for classroom instruction has also risen sharply. Unlike years past, students and teachers are now “always on” and always moving.
