Multiscreen Service on a Global Scale
Always committed to bring new and enhanced services to their subscribers, Canal+ has consistently been a pioneer in video delivery. As part of their new multiscreen service, 125 live SD and HD channels are now delivered to viewers across metropolitan France, the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean and Pacific regions through a broad range of both fixed and mobile devices and in a variety of video formats including Apple® HLS and Microsoft® Smooth Streaming.
The Canal+ choice to deploy Anevia was driven by the desire to build their new service on an agnostic platform able to interoperate with their ecosystem while guaranteeing support for multiple third-party encoders, content delivery networks and DRM solutions.
