Details in the contract include upgrading the City Police Department-s existing Tiburon public safety platform (CAD, Mobile, Law RMS, and Jail RMS) to the latest versions of each solution — offering new features and capabilities to help the police department meet the growing demands for services. Tiburon solutions to be deployed include: ; , (including a property room bar code module) and (including a custom gang module). Interfaces to be deployed include: E-911, TDD, and CAD to Firehouse RMS Transfer, Fire Station Printing, EXT State, Time Synch and Paging.
As part of the Greater Houston/Harris County Region, the largest economic and cultural center of the American South and the fifth-largest metropolitan area in the United States, Pasadena-s 260 officers patrol 67 square miles, serve approximately 150,000 citizens and respond to approximately 90,000 calls for service per year.
