Turkish Airlines Signs Exclusive Three-Year Deal With SDL

ISTANBUL, TURKEY — (Marketwired) — 10/10/13 — (LSE: SDL) today announced that , a member of Star Alliance, the world-s largest airline group, has chosen SDL to help drive international sales by providing the best possible online for new customers across 10 additional key markets.

Turkish Airlines- ambitious mirrors the importance of exports to the Turkish economy and will enable it to contribute to the country-s overall goal of increasing annual Turkish exports to $500bn by 2023. In an exclusive three year contract, SDL will work collaboratively with Turkish Airlines to deliver consistent, in 10 new languages including Russian, Chinese and Arabic.

Turkish Airlines embarked on a stringent evaluation process to find its ideal localization partner. With a lengthy criteria list, quality was the most important factor to ensure the protection of its brand through consistent communications.
