Cadec Expands Professional Services and Support Organization to Better Serve Growing Customer Base; Management Changes Include Return of Jonathan Bernstein as CEO

MANCHESTER, NH — (Marketwired) — 11/13/13 — (), which connects companies to their private trucking fleets, announced today that it has expanded its Professional Services and Support organizations and created a new Account Management group to better serve its growing customer base. Angela Shue, formerly Senior Vice President of Sales for Cadec, has been promoted to Chief Customer Officer with both sales and post-sales customer responsibility.

Among the new Cadec hires are former FL100 fleet managers, and a new Director of Support with 10+ years of fleet management experience. Each new hire has significant experience working with private fleets in the foodservice or fuel/hazmat industries, Cadec-s primary areas of focus. The new Account Management group is focused on driving customer satisfaction, and is staffed with a team of experienced transportation technologists who work closely with both Professional Services and Support staff to assist customers.

“For 20 years, I-ve been focused on helping customers succeed with fleet management,” said Shue. “Bringing the sales and post-sales functions together under one umbrella will help ensure that Cadec delivers on its customer commitments.” Shue explained that Cadec-s customer-facing staff all have hands-on fleet experience and can speak with customers as peers, not just as technology solutions experts. “Our recent recruits have already had a large impact on our ability to drive real results for our customers,” she said.

Cadec also announced that Jonathan Bernstein is re-assuming the role of CEO. As a result of these changes, Pete Allen and Carol Bumbaca, formerly CEO and Vice President of Professional Services respectively, will be leaving the company.

“Under Pete-s leadership, Cadec had a great year,” said Bernstein. “He managed the company through a high-growth period, helped drive product improvements and increased customer satisfaction. Virtually all of Cadec-s Mobius customers have completed their migrations to our SaaS offering, PowerVue, and that has helped us focus on improving results for our customers.”

“Going forward, we-re looking to accelerate our focus on delivering industry-leading products and customer service for the private fleet market,” Bernstein added. “Cadec has a rich, 35-year history of innovation. In partnership with our larger, experienced staff and industry veterans such as Angela and COO Tom Flies, we-re confident that we-ll continue to outperform for our customers.”
