Altitude Digital Adds Veteran Ad Tech Talent as Company Experiences Tremendous Growth; Continues to Expand Programmatic Video Platform

DENVER, CO — (Marketwired) — 09/29/14 — Altitude Digital, a leading video supply side platform (SSP), today announced that Ryan Abrahams and Max Gideon have joined the company as Vice President of New Revenue and Vice President of Mobile, respectively. The new hires come as Altitude Digital experiences remarkable revenue growth amid a surging video advertising market and continues to build out its executive ranks with industry veterans.

Both VPs will be tasked with helping to explore new revenue and growth opportunities for the company as it continues its mission to help publishers optimize, monetize and manage their online advertising. The new hires will also help Altitude to expand its mobile presence.

VP of New Revenue Abrahams joins the company from Nexage, where he served as Director of Publisher Development, East, assisting premium publishers with understanding programmatic technology and mobile. Prior to that, he held account executive roles in Google–s DoubleClick and Admeld divisions. He will look to grow Altitude–s base of premium publishers, assisting them as they make their video inventory available via programmatic technology.

Gideon previously served in business development and advertiser management roles for social gaming platform Zynga. In his new role as VP of Mobile, he will be responsible for driving Altitude–s mobile strategy and execution, including exploring technology offerings to strengthen the company–s position as a leader in video advertising across all platforms. Mobile is a leading growth area for programmatic video and one Altitude Digital continues to expand.

In addition to Abrahams and Gideon, Cordell BaanHofman has been promoted to Vice President of RTB and Demand, an area that represents explosive growth for the platform.

“Publishers have learned that video is a great way to engage audiences and to increase their ad revenue, but they still have trouble getting the best results when it comes to serving ads against that video content,” said Jeremy Ostermiller, CEO and founder of Altitude Digital. “We–ve assembled a team with publishers– best interests in mind. With Ryan–s deep publisher relationships and Max–s experience in the mobile channel, we will continue to rise to meet the needs of our publisher partners as they evolve to a changing consumer landscape. We–re excited about the team we–re putting in place in key leadership roles to take our platform to the next level for our customers.”

Altitude also announced the addition of several directors to its staff, including Director of New Revenue Growth, Maarifa Roho, who comes from Sovrn; Director of Video Platform, Craig Yamada, joining the team from Adap.tv and Director of RTB/Programmatic, Dana Zawadzki, most recently at MediaMath.

Altitude Digital delivers technology that amplifies and streamlines the connection between buyers and sellers of online advertising. The company is one of the fastest growing video advertising marketplaces and was named #54 on the Inc500 for the last two years (2011 and 2012). Altitude Digital is headquartered in Denver, Colorado with offices in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
