Intergraph(R) CAESAR II(R) Webinar October 9th to Demonstrate Joint Feature Release of CAESAR II and FEA Tools

HOUSTON, TX — (Marketwired) — 09/30/14 — Intergraph will host a webinar on October 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. CT that will review the joint feature release of CAESAR II version 7.0 and FEA Tools version 2.0 including demonstrations on how to use the B31.3 stress index field (SIF) and the sustained stress index (SSI) in test results. The webinar will include a collapse test to demonstrate how a B31.3 torsion allowable moment can be greater than the collapse moment. Other demonstrations include a stiffness test, equations for expansion and sustained stresses, use of pressure stresses in the expansion stress calculation, and more.

Webinar leaders include Richard Ay and Tony Paulin. Ay is vice president of Software Development at Intergraph CADWorx & Analysis Solutions who oversees the development of the company–s plant engineering products. Paulin has been involved for many years in developing technology for piping and pressure vessel design and analysis. He is the founder of Paulin Research Group (PRG), a firm that provides FEA-based software programs for use in the pressure vessel and piping sectors.
