Hansen Medical Appoints Brian Sheahan as Vice President of Clinical, Regulatory and Quality Affairs

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — (Marketwired) — 10/20/14 — Hansen Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ: HNSN), a global leader in intravascular robotics, today announced it has named Brian Sheahan as Vice President of Clinical, Regulatory and Quality Affairs. Mr. Sheahan will report directly to Hansen–s President and Chief Executive Officer, Cary Vance.

Mr. Sheahan joins Hansen with more than 25 years of experience in the medical device field. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance for Direct Flow Medical, Inc. where he was responsible for all U.S & E.U. field and in-house clinical operations, regulatory affairs and quality assurance. Prior to Direct Flow Medical, he also held similar roles at TriVascular, Arterial Vascular Engineering Inc. and PS Medical, Inc. Mr. Sheahan holds a Bachelor of Science from Saint Joseph–s University in Philadelphia.
