QuickLogic to Showcase Latest Sensor Hub Solutions at Wearable Sensors and Electronics 2014

SUNNYVALE, CA — (Marketwired) — 11/07/14 — QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), the innovator in low-power Customer Specific Standard Products (), will be demonstrating its latest sensor hub solutions for mobile and wearable devices at the Wearable Sensors and Electronics 2014 Annual Conference in Santa Clara, California. These solutions include QuickLogic–s new programmable sensor hub platform, which enables always-on, always-aware applications at only 150µW active power consumption.

November 12-13, 2014

Biltmore Hotel & Suites, 2151 Laurelwood Road, Santa Clara

QuickLogic will host three demonstrations at the event, including its ArcticLink 3 S2 Sensor Hub Smartphone Development Kit and TAG Family of Sensor Hub Wearable Reference Designs.

The Sensor Hub Development Kit is a two-board system that provides OEMs and system designers a vehicle to design, simulate, and test sensor hub implementations based on the ArcticLink 3 S2 platform. QuickLogic–s Gesture and Context Catalog CSSP will be shown on the development kit.

The TAG Reference Design is a wrist-worn, battery-powered system that allows OEMs to evaluate ArcticLink 3 S2 platform in a wearable-specific form factor. Coupled with the provided Android APK, this system allows real-time evaluation of QuickLogic–s best-in-class pedometer, user gestures, and contexts.

The TAG-N development system plugs directly into the Nordic Semiconductor nRF51822 development kit. This solution allows system architects to easily implement a QuickLogic sensor hub into a Nordic-based design with minimum effort, using standard algorithms and system drivers.
