DataWind Expands Its Distribution Channel By Partnering With HomeShop 18, India–s Largest TV Home Shopping Network

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO — (Marketwired) — 01/08/15 — DataWind Inc. (TSX: DW), a leader in low cost internet connectivity and a leading provider of wireless web access products, today announced an expansion of its Indian retail channel through a new partnership with HomeShop18, India–s largest TV Home Shopping network. The agreement includes the launch of unique sales campaigns across TV Home Shopping, Mobile and Internet which will provide greater access to DataWind–s products, currently India–s largest selling low cost android devices. The first campaign is scheduled for January 9th, 2015.

DataWind has recently expanded its distribution network with a series of modern, traditional and online retail distribution agreements. DataWind–s devices are available across India at specialist, general mobile stores and large electronics retail superstores. These new distribution channels support the company–s existing retail infrastructure which includes online and direct to consumer channels. DataWind recently partnered with UniverCell and Spice Retail and established its own distribution network in India. HomeShop18–s broad TV shopping network will allow DataWind to fill previous distribution gaps.
