Gartner Names Spikes Security a 2015 Cool Vendor in Security Infrastructure Protection

LOS GATOS, CA — (Marketwired) — 05/12/15 — Spikes Security, the isolation security company, today announced that Gartner Inc. has positioned the company as a Cool Vendor in its recently published “Cool Vendors in Security Infrastructure Protection, 2015” report.(1)

In the report, Gartner advises clients to “use cutting-edge data security products that raise the bar for attackers by design without sacrificing high availability.” The report also recommends that clients “pilot emerging browser isolation solutions for high-risk individuals and systems that require access to the public Internet.”

The prevents all browser-borne malware by rendering and isolating all web content on a specialized appliance outside the network, then presenting a benign, malware-free version of the content to users inside the network. The solution effectively addresses all malicious web threats, stopping zero-day attacks, malvertising attacks, transparent drive-by downloads and other complex web threats.
