12th iran telecom from 15 – 18 November 2011 in Tehran

At the 12th iran telecom, more than 200 exhibitors presenting telecommunication networks, mobile communications and applications, next generation networks, IP technology, satellite communications and infrastructure solutions will discuss business with more than 30,000 expected visitors. The main CIT event in Iran is organised by Palar Samaneh of Tehran and fairtrade of Germany. The event is scheduled for 15 to 18 November 2011 at the Tehran International Fairgrounds.

Iran”s 12th International Telecommunications Trade Fair takes place in the midst of an unprecedented wave of transformation oftelecommunications technologies. Outlines Martin Maerz, fairtrade”s managing director: “If you like to see how key telecom and IT technologies as the drivers of innovation influence business processes and everyday life and how CIT opens new fields for growth in just about every industry, iran telecom 2011 is the place to be.”

Since 2008 the growth rates of iran telecom are double-digit. Between 2008 and 2010 the number of exhibitors increased by 24%, and with +64% the sold square meters of exhibition space has almost doubled. In 2010, 204 exhibitors were discussing business with 30,455 high-profile visitors on 10,921 sqm net exhibition space. “The past years demonstrated that iran telecom is the main CIT event in Iran for exhibitors and visitors involved in the design, planning, operation and sale of telecom services and products, from chief engineers to planners and operators as well as wholesale and retail suppliers”, said Monika Schaedel, senior project manager with fairtrade. Schaedel further: “At iran telecom the emphasis is on innovation, trends and knowledge exchange, reflecting cutting edge technology.”

MTN Irancell was the official sponsor, other major players participating at iran telecom 2010 included world leaders such as Aastra, Avaya, Ericsson, Huawei, Motorola, Panasonic, Sony Ericsson, TCI, Zaeim and many others. Another highlight was the participation of a group of seven Chinese companies.

iran telecom 2011 is held with the official support the Ministry of ICT , the Ministry of Industries and Mines, the Telecommunications Company of Iran TCI, the Telecommunications Infrastructure Company TIC and the Communications Regulatory Authority.
