ABOUT
We all know that the tech industry is booming in the Bay Area. We–ve already seen increased pressure on housing and public transportation in the short term. How this economic boon impacts the city of San Francisco and city services over the long term remains to be seen. While this economic influx strains public services, it also provides an opportunity for all members of the community to benefit. The question is: How can tech titans support the local community to benefit all residents?

At this fireside chat at Impact Hub San Francisco, we will discuss the impact of the tech boom on the community and how the city can respond in a proactive way to keep arts, diversity and community engagement active and thriving in the city by the bay.
