During the session, he will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each platform and which is the right choice for today–s data center. He will also focus on the foundation for the modern data center, and the underlying storage technologies that can serve as the foundation for core data center workloads, and how to enable flexibility and agility for the data center in order to keep pace with changing business requirements.

Storage veteran, industry analyst and freelance journalist Howard Marks will lead an interactive panel discussion with seven storage vendors, including Nimble Storage, to highlight the changes and innovations in the storage market. Marks will moderate the discussion by highlighting new architectures and advanced technologies. He, and the participating vendors, will discuss how the industry is changing the way organizations use and interact with storage, specifically highlighting new service oriented architectures, improved storage implementation and management technologies.
