PLANO, TEXAS — (Marketwired) — 08/31/15 — Tektronix Communications, a wholly owned subsidiary of NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC., will extend the availability, reliability and capability of its TrueCall® geoanalytics platform through signing with Ericsson an Operations Support Systems Interoperability Initiative (OSSii) agreement.
TrueCall is a real-time 24×7 network-wide geoanalytics platform. It hosts a suite of applications that provide monitoring, visualization, optimization, automation, and data monetization solutions. With this OSSii agreement, Tektronix Communications can increase TrueCall–s reach and availability across a wider set of radio access technology (RAT) types and management systems.

OSSii is an initiative led by major network infrastructure vendors. It aims to facilitate the interoperability between network management systems from different vendors. OSSii promotes competition for network-level OSS systems by reducing the overall integration costs, as well as speeding up the time-to-market for new services.
